April 13th

Today we did some more research and made our self portraits. We used books to find facts about frogs. The last time that we were in the computer lab we found some facts about the frog's life cycle from Enchanted Learning.
Here are the facts that we found:

Frogs lay their eggs and then leave them so they can grow up on their own. When frogs hatch, they do not eat, move or sleep when they are a tadpole. Frogs have two powerful back legs and they are cold blooded.

They start as an egg.
They become a tadpole.
Then it is a froglet.
Then it is an adult frog.

Little tadpoles are inside the eggs. The eggs crack. They become tadpoles and get bigger. They live in the water and have gills. The tadpole then grows back legs and still lave in the water. Froglets have all four legs, a tail and a nose. They breath air by using lungs. Adult frogs lose their tails.

FROGS

Hello. Our names are Mason and Romario. This blog is about our project on frogs.

This is our KWL about frogs. In a KWL, we explain what we know, what we think we will learn, and what did we learn. Since we have not done any research yet, we did not talk about what we have learned.

we are going to read books about frogs. We got the books from our class room and the library. We are also using the computers in the computer lab to find information about frogs. Our student teacher, Samantha, showed us a great search site call Enchanted Learning. We found lots of information here. We used google images to find pictures of frogs.
